Continuing our focus on Chicago’s Hip-Hop, Bass, and Beats talent in February, we’re excited to present the 3rd installment of the FACE MELT ‘Chi-Sound’ Showcaseseries. With so many producers in Chicago, and being as spread out as we are, different sounds develop. For Volume 3, we’ve producers spanning a couple generations in local Bass & Hip-Hop music including Tensei, Void Pedal, Searchl1te, BRC, Denmark Vessey and many more! And as a special bonus, participating producers are featured on the “Chi-Sound” promo compilationavailable for FREE via the FACE MELT bandcamp (note: full album downloads include FREE event admission before 11pm!)

February 1st, 2011. Presented by Ground Lift Media, FACE MELT is a new monthly event series which showcases envelope-pushing artists on a local, national, and international level. The 2011 programming schedule includes Live Bands, Live PA sets, DJs/Turntablists, & Touring Acts spanning genres like Dubstep,Glitch, Electronic, Hip-Hop, andBeat-related. And if that’s not enough, the resident roster boasts some of Chicago’s finest talents –Maker (Stonesthrow, Now-Again), DJ Intel (The Comeups, Platter Pirates), & DJ TREW (Ground Lift Media).
