Everybody loves melted cheese right? Even the lactose intolerant think it's a genius, although completely inedible, idea. So...that love of melted goodness should transfer to anything melty (Thanks Taco Bell) right? Glad we all agree. Now meet our two films.

The Stuff (1985)

Weird yummy goo erupts from the earth and is discovered by a couple of miners. They taste it and decide to market it because it tastes so good. The American public literally eats up the new dessert sensation now known as the Stuff but, unfortunately, it takes over the brains of those who eat it, turning them into zombie-like creatures. It is up to ex-FBI agent David Rutherford and a kid named Jason to stop the spread of the mind-devouring dessert.

Street Trash (1987)

When a liquor store owner finds a case of "Viper" in his cellar, he decides to sell it to the local hobos at one dollar a bottle, unaware of its true properties. The drinks causes its consumers to melt, very messily. Two homeless lads find themselves up against the effects of the toxic brew, as well as going head to head with "Bronson" a Vietnam vet with sociopathic tendencies, and the owner of the junkyard they live in.


Popstatic and Intel close out the night with music.

I started this about 3 or 4 years ago and whittled 25 beats down to these seven that I thought were the strongest and the most deserving of getting the treatment from Seth and Gerard. Who by the by were incredible in mixing and mastering it one night.
